Business Development Representative for Educational Solutions

Pearson Education Services is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for selling innovative educational solutions to 2-4 year college institutions, driving teaching and learning innovation, and helping meet the educational goals of access, achievement, and affordability.
About the Role
This is a home-based position with approximately 50% travel, including visits to local college campuses and national meetings. You will work closely with faculty members, bookstores, and other stakeholders to drive course adoption and upsell additional services. Your Key Responsibilities
- Achieve or surpass territory sales targets by offering course-based solutions to faculty, gaining market share.
- Accelerate the shift towards subscription-based materials to tackle student affordability and access challenges.
- Collaborate with specialists and account executives to implement effective program-wide or institution-wide solutions.
- Conduct impactful back-to-school campaigns that boost student engagement.
- Collaborate with bookstores to drive sell-through.
- Track and forecast in OneCRM (Salesforce.com).

About You
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and successful work experience. A minimum of 2 years of outstanding sales performance in the higher education market or a related industry is required. Proficiency with Office tools, mobile technologies, computer applications, and business systems is essential. If you have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals, excellent organizational and follow-up skills, and a strong ability to build trust-based relationships with customers and colleagues, we encourage you to apply.
