Compensation and Benefits
This travel nurse position offers a highly competitive salary of $120-$180 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term disability, 401(k), and reimbursement for licensure and CEU's.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for cardiovascular operating room nursing to join our team for a 13-week assignment. As a medical travel professional, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Administer medications as ordered and document accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies promptly
- Transport patients safely and efficiently
Qualifications and Requirements
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in cardiovascular operating room preferred
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Able to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a computer
- Physical abilities to remain stationary, move about, lift 50-100lbs, and push/pull equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse personnel and present a positive attitude
- Technical/motor skills to grasp, fine manipulate, and move equipment
- Mental requirements to cope with frequent contact with the public, meet deadlines under pressure, and work without assistance occasionally
