About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Professional to join our team as a Senior IT Support Specialist. This is a full-time, permanent position with an industry-leading technology company.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support across various operating systems, including Windows, Mac, and Linux. They will handle user queries via multiple channels, troubleshoot hardware issues, and configure equipment. Additionally, they will manage help desk ticketing systems, develop knowledge base solutions, and maintain system updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for software, hardware, and network-related issues
  • Handle user queries via phone, email, chat, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues for computers, printers, and wireless devices
  • Configure and install equipment, including imaging and automation of Windows systems
  • Manage help desk ticketing system and develop knowledge base solutions
  • Maintain patch management and system updates
  • Support remote access systems (VPN, Remote Desktop, VNC)
  • Monitor system alerts and handle global ticketing
  • Collaborate with global IT team on network specifications and security requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years helpdesk or systems administration experience
  • Strong Windows Server and Active Directory knowledge
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft certifications desired
