About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Billings Clinic. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to obtain ordered radiographs, positioning patients, and adjusting equipment for proper exposure settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports and models behaviors consistent with the mission and philosophy of Billings Clinic and department/service.
  • Ensures radiological services provided are in compliance with standards established by the institution, state, and according to limited permit State statute.
  • Performs non-complex procedures and radiographs using the appropriate department routine as ordered.
  • Prepares the room, equipment, and supplies as dictated by the particular examination or patient needs and processes the necessary radiographs.
  • Prepares the patient for the examination by ensuring the patient is attired properly, explains the examination to the patient, and transfers and positions the patient as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current Montana license as a X-Ray Limited Permit Tech
  • CPR Certification for Health Care Providers
  • Current Montana or Wyoming State X-Ray limited permit
