About the Role

Voutique is seeking a highly skilled Big Data Analytics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of pipelines that extract, transform, and load data into an information product that helps the organization reach its strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing the focus on ingesting, storing, processing, and analyzing large datasets
  • Creating scalable, high-performance web services for tracking data
  • Formulating strategic and long-term initiatives to help improve team's process
  • Investigating alternatives for data storing and processing to ensure implementation of the most streamlined solutions
  • Serving as a mentor for senior and junior staff members by conducting technical training sessions and reviewing project outputs
  • Producing timely weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reporting on various KPIs

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in leadership roles
  • Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering

Desirable Skills

  • Expertise in ETL methodology for corporate-wide solution design using DataStage
  • Understanding of data-warehousing and data-modeling techniques
  • Knowledge of industry-wide visualization and analytics tools (ex: Tableau, R)
  • Strong data engineering skills with Azure cloud platform
  • Experience with streaming frameworks such as Kafka
  • Knowledge of Core Java, Linux, SQL, and any scripting language
  • Good interpersonal skills and positive attitude
