At NANA Regional Corp, we are seeking an experienced Air Cargo Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska. Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year.

Job Description:
The Air Cargo Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of aircraft cargo. This requires coordinating with multiple departments and verifying that all necessary procedures are followed. The Loadmaster must be able to communicate effectively with the flight crew and other personnel to ensure timely and accurate delivery of cargo.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor loading and unloading of aircraft
  • Provide leadership as aircraft is being loaded and/or unloaded in a safe and efficient manner
  • Verify the flight crew has easy access from cockpit to the rear of the aircraft following the completion of the load
  • Ensure that the load is properly secured
  • Communicate with multiple department personnel regarding aircraft readiness and positions
  • Provide timely updates to Customer and Management
  • Monitor movements of Customer aircraft to ensure timely and correct arrival

Qualifications:
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of right to work in the U.S.
  • High School graduate or GED
  • Must be able to read flight plan activity
  • Must have knowledge of fundamental flight operations services and procedures for handling cargo flights
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to obtain an airport badge with US Customs clearance
  • Must be willing to work occasionally in inclement weather
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Able to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment
  • Flight crew and customer relationship skills are a must
  • Must prepare appropriate documentation for flight handling
  • Must be able to perform weight and balance procedures

Physical Demands:
The Air Cargo Logistics Coordinator will be required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The agent may be required to climb stairs, bend at the waist, kneel, crouch, or stoop. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
