Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Woodworking Specialist, you will be responsible for building various items with wood, including roofing frames, cabinets, shelving, and other wooden structures. You will work closely with a team of specialists to complete projects, identify materials, find suppliers, and ensure timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and install wooden structures, including roofs, partitions, and drywall.
  • Select lumber by size and strength to suit each job.
  • Calculate the number of fasteners required for each project.
  • Read blueprints and designs to work according to specifications.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and housing troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Proven experience as a carpenter or in a related field.
  • Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials.
  • Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
  • Customer service oriented and goal-driven.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds individually.

Working Conditions

This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains. You will be exposed to noise levels requiring hearing protection and may be required to work in high wind, ice, snow, wet, and/or humid conditions.
