Job Overview

The Director of Vertical Markets reports directly to the VP Strategy and is responsible for developing a strategic growth plan for the vertical market, gaining support from VPGMs who own the strategy for their business/product lines.

This role requires a resourceful individual with organizational experience, strong communication skills, self-motivation, and a solid background in the vertical industry.

A Day In The Life
  • Develop a vision and strategic direction for Hubbell's Vertical offerings to ensure they align with customer needs, business growth, and overall segment strategy.
  • Develop a multi-year portfolio roadmap that meets company goals and identify/mitigate barriers to success.
  • Work closely with product development teams to translate key needs and requirements into new products and solutions that serve unmet Vertical needs.
  • Coordinate the execution of all key initiatives from idea to launch across functions and BUs to deliver profitable and customer-focused solutions for the Vertical.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor of Business, Engineering or Science with Finance/Management/Marketing/Technical focus.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Deep industry knowledge of the Vertical space.
  • 5+ years of Supervisory/Management experience.
  • Strong collaboration skills and commitment to interdisciplinary thinking.
