Responsibilities:

  • Anesthetic Plan Development: Design and execute effective anesthetic plans for patients undergoing surgery.
  • Patient Airway Management: Safely manage patients' airways and respiratory status during medical procedures.
  • Patient Monitoring: Closely monitor patients before, during, and after surgery to ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Operating Room Preparation: Prepare operating rooms, set up equipment, and arrange supplies to ensure a smooth procedure.
  • Patient Visits and Record-Keeping: Conduct regular patient visits, recording findings and updates in the patient records.
  • Diagnostics and Testing: Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform anesthesia care decisions.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with advances in anesthesia techniques, including new medical equipment and treatments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or relevant undergraduate degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a CRNA.
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse.
  • Proficiency in airway management techniques and chronic pain treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of current anesthesia practices and techniques.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
