Job Summary
We are offering a competitive salary of $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. This full-time position requires a strong background in veterinary technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with surgeries, exams, and procedures while maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Administer medications, take vital signs, and perform blood work as needed.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including handling and restraining animals, and assisting with post-operative recovery.
- Maintain accurate records, update patient files, and communicate effectively with veterinarians and support staff.
- Clean and disinfect equipment and facilities, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Associates degree in veterinary technology or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, support staff, and clients.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Current certification as a veterinary technician (CVT) or willingness to pursue certification.
