Job Summary

We are offering a competitive salary of $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. This full-time position requires a strong background in veterinary technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

1. Assist veterinarians with surgeries, exams, and procedures while maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.
2. Administer medications, take vital signs, and perform blood work as needed.
3. Provide exceptional patient care, including handling and restraining animals, and assisting with post-operative recovery.
4. Maintain accurate records, update patient files, and communicate effectively with veterinarians and support staff.
5. Clean and disinfect equipment and facilities, adhering to infection control protocols.
6. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Associates degree in veterinary technology or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, support staff, and clients.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Current certification as a veterinary technician (CVT) or willingness to pursue certification.
