Job Description

Job Title: VP of Education and Childhood Development

Job Summary:

The Vice President of Education and Childhood Development will lead the education impact team to ensure alignment with the agency mission, strategy, and values. This role will be responsible for education programming, grants management, budgetary functions, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the education impact team to ensure alignment with the agency mission, strategy, and values.
  • Accountable for education programming, grants management, budgetary functions, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to consult on personnel-related issues and actions.
  • Remain current on federal, state, and local trends that could impact programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the same or related fields and 7-10 years directly related experience in non-profit, human service, or governmental financial and program management.
  • Prior experience working with families experiencing vulnerable conditions and local community services.
  • Minimum five years supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Education, Early Childhood, Social Work, Public Policy/Administration, or related field and five years directly related experience in non-profit, human service, or governmental financial and program management.
