Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Orthopaedic Nurse. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a commitment to collaboration with our interdisciplinary team.
About the Role:
As an Orthopaedic Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing services to patients with orthopaedic conditions. This will include assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Direct Patient Care
- Assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate, and delegate work to the patient care team
- Provide education and consultation to patients, families, and staff members
Develop and Implement Patient Plans of Care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a BSN degree and one year of acute care experience. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing and current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification are also required. Specialty certification is preferred.
