Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough competitor analysis to identify quality programs in the Personal and Commercial lines markets
  • Develop and maintain manuals and forms for filing with state regulatory agencies
  • Stay up-to-date on applicable state laws, bulletins, and statutes to ensure legislative compliance
  • Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and legislators
  • Manage insurance rates and premium calculations
  • Identify and fill product gaps to drive market growth
  • Prepare and submit filings using SERFF/IFile
  • Collaborate with management and actuaries on interrogatories and rate filings
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver products quickly
  • Drive product launches by coordinating with marketing, executives, underwriting, and customer service teams
  • Participate in business process management efforts to collect and analyze metrics and improve processes
  • Conduct root cause analysis to recommend product or service enhancements
  • Complete ad hoc analytical projects as assigned

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Insurance Industry
  • Proficient knowledge of property and casualty insurance
  • Previous experience working with state Departments of Insurance is a plus
  • Proficiency in program development and product filing in multiple states for both Personal and Commercial Lines
  • Previous underwriting experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong system organizational skills
