The Good Samaritan Society, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality care and service in a Christian environment, is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows the successful candidate to travel locally by working in various Good Samaritan Society locations within a 150-mile radius from their home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.

This role requires an individual with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others.

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and performing various nursing procedures.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing personalized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
• Document patient interactions, outcomes, and any concerns or issues that arise, maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care.

To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the state nursing board.
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• A minimum of three months of experience in Long Term Care, with six months preferred.
• Ability to work at least 24 hours per month and participate in weekend rotations.
