M&A Deputy

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled M&A Deputy to support the Chief Growth Officer in guiding and facilitating the Oliver Wyman Actuarial (OWA) and Insurance & Asset Management (IAM) inorganic growth agenda.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and researching potential acquisition targets, managing the evaluation and due diligence processes, and supporting the integration of acquired companies into the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the end-to-end acquisition process, including coordinating with necessary stakeholders to facilitate execution
• Identify and research acquisition/investment targets across all practices and geographies
• Manage the due diligence process on potential targets, including assisting Corporate Development with financial analysis, market research, risk assessment, and negotiation
• Assist in post-acquisition integration activities, including integration planning and cultural alignment
• Provide coaching and guidance to senior staff on how to effectively build relationships with potential targets
• Create and provide regular updates for OWA/IAM executive SteerCo
• Develop, own, and maintain all related M&A materials, including templates for NDA, Business Case, Fact Sheet, Information Request, IOI, LOI, and Transaction Agreement

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to network with senior business leaders and build strong relationships
• Employment history with evidence of rapid learning, high performance, and professional growth
• Excellent project/time management skills, prioritization skills, and persuasive abilities
• Prior experience in M&A or Corporate Development is strongly preferred but not required
