Job Title: Air Combat Systems Analyst

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Combat Systems Analyst to join our team at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). As a key member of our Air Combat and Strike Mission Analysis Group, you will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and analyzing tactics and concepts of employment for groundbreaking technologies such as air platforms, sensors, countermeasures, and weapons, including manned-unmanned vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and evaluate tactics and concepts of employment for air combat systems
- Analyze data and identify trends to inform decision-making
- Collaborate with a team of analysts and senior engineers to guide the direction of analysis
- Engage in independent research projects to develop creative solutions

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related area
- Demonstrated excellence in conducting mission-level modeling, simulation, and analysis in the air-to-air domain
- Strong scripting and programming skills with languages such as Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or JAVA
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by start date and Top Secret level clearance
