Senior Collision Repair Training Specialist

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a skilled Collision Repair Trainer to drive improvements in employee and shop performance across our locations in Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our organization. As a Collision Repair Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering technical training, assessing repair centers, coaching employees, and developing training workshops to achieve target outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Technical Training: Provide instruction on I-Car courses, product/equipment usage, company processes, and other identified content.
- Audit and Coaching: Evaluate repair centers based on appearance/functionality, equipment availability/condition, and staff competence/cohesiveness. Coach employees on applying technical skills and building efficiencies in the repair process.
- Training Workshop Development: Identify needs and develop training workshops to support achievement of target outcomes.
- Industry Trend Evaluation: Stay current on industry developments and evaluate their viability for our organization.
- Continuous Improvement Process (CIP): Contribute as a member of the CIP team and support department initiatives.
- Technical Background: Strong understanding of cosmetic and structural repair and refinish.
- Training Experience: Proven ability to deliver formal training in the collision industry.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decisions up to the executive level.
