HR Generalist

Cannabis & Glass is a dynamic and rapidly expanding industry leader in the cannabis retail sector. We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Spokane Valley.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic support to the HR function, focusing on benefits administration, employee relations, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and payroll verification. This role requires a high level of organizational aptitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to think strategically.

• Benefits Administration: Assist in the direction and planning of group benefit programs, ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations.
• Employee Relations/Performance Management: Conduct workplace investigations, administer progressive discipline incidents, and audit attendance occurrences.
• Talent Acquisition/Recruiting: Assist in pre-screening resumes, scheduling interviews, checking references, and verifying educational degrees.
• Workforce Planning: Plan for current workforce needs, identify gaps in existing employee rosters, and learn about regulatory requirements within the cannabis industry.

• Bachelor's degree in a business or human resource related field
• 3 years of progressive experience in human resources
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local law, particularly in Washington and Oregon
• Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Possess a keen attention to detail and demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members

• Estimated salary range: $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience
