About the Role

This clinical internship program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience in evidence-based practices while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary clinical team. As a clinical intern, you will have the chance to acquire knowledge and skills in mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention strategies.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Crisis Intervention: Develop and implement crisis intervention plans to address urgent mental health needs.
  • Individual Therapy: Provide individual therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based techniques and best practices.
  • Group Therapy: Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on various topics, including anger management, stress, anxiety, and more.
  • Family Therapy: Work with families to identify and address underlying issues affecting their relationships and overall well-being.
  • Intake Assessments: Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited professional graduate school program in social work or marriage and family therapy.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in evidence-based practices and theoretical frameworks.
  • Experience: Previous experience in mental health settings, preferably in crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, and family therapy.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
