About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors, an H&R Block brand. As a Tax Advisor, you will serve clients with diverse tax and business services needs year-round, providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build year-round client relationships and provide tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services.
  • Create confidence in our clients by conducting tax interviews face-to-face and through virtual tools.
  • Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
  • Grow your tax expertise and stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of tax experience, including experience completing individual tax returns and tax planning.
  • Tax planning and audit support experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person and virtually.
  • Comfort working with virtual tools, including video conferencing and chat.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
