The Ideal Candidate

We seek an experienced LPN who is passionate about delivering compassionate care and is committed to ongoing professional development. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to teamwork, and the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed medications, perform injections and vaccines, and read PPD results under the direction of registered nurses and doctors.
  • Conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) and screening tests as required.
  • Collect and test specimens following standard operating procedures and document results, taking appropriate action with unexpected outcomes.
  • Gather information from patients and direct them to the RN or provider when necessary.
  • Assist providers with surgical procedures, including positioning patients, maintaining a sterile field, and wound cleaning and dressing.
  • Prepare paperwork to complete patient visits.
  • Obtain and document patients' vital signs as needed and report abnormal results to the provider.
  • Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and check equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
  • Maintain medication storage closets.
  • Participate in orienting new team members.
  • Perform duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of PA is required.
  • BLS/CPR certification as a healthcare provider is required.
  • H.S. Diploma/GED and completion of a Practice Nursing School program are required.
  • 1+ years' experience as an LPN in an outpatient setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
