Salary and BenefitsThe starting wage for this position is $19/hour, with opportunities for credit based on experience. A great benefits package is available, including 403(b) retirement plan participation, holiday pay, chaplain counseling, team member assistance program, daily pay, and anniversary recognition program.
Job DescriptionAs a Caregiving Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing hands-on personal care and assisting with nurse-delegated tasks such as recording vital signs and operating mechanical lifts. Your dedication will contribute to enhancing residents' quality of life through effective communication, meaningful interaction, and support with daily activities.
You will be part of a close-knit environment where the values of support, collaboration, and shared experiences define our everyday interactions.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- A passion for providing compassionate care to older adults
This is a FLEX PRN position, which requires:
- Completing the onboarding process
- Providing monthly availability to the PRN Coordinator
- Scheduled unless notified of staffing surplus
- No impact on PRN status if days decrease due to staffing
- Failure to meet monthly minimum may result in probation or disciplinary action
- FLEX PRN-A: Commit to one to four 12-hour shifts/month
- FLEX PRN-B: Commit to five or more 12-hour shifts/month
