Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Room Attendant to join our team at Comfort Inn St Clairsville. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.

About the Role:

  • As a Hotel Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
  • You will work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. To understand and adhere to all standards of room/suite cleanliness, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
  2. To consistently clean assigned rooms/suites to the highest standards of cleanliness, paying particular attention to details such as making beds, replenishing linens, and restocking amenities.
  3. Maintain shelf organization in the storerooms and ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are stored correctly.
  4. To remove trash and dirty linens from rooms/suites, and to replace with fresh linens and toiletries as required.
  5. To sweep and vacuum floors, including hallways and public areas.
  6. To report any maintenance problems or complete work orders as required.
  7. To spot clean walls, light fixtures, headboards, picture frames, etc., and to complete room checklists to ensure that all tasks have been completed.
  8. To maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the storeroom and any other areas used by the housekeeping team.

Requirements:

  • You must be able to reach, kneel, and bend to perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing linen.
  • You should have the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy loads, including cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • You should be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and deadlines to meet. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
