Job Summary

The Executive Director of Community Wellbeing is responsible for leading our team to provide comprehensive support and guidance to direct client service teams on the Spring Branch Campus. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of behavioral health and supportive services.

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an experienced leader to manage, train, and hire staff to deliver effective Wellness services based on best practices for community engagement and working with clients accessing Permanent Supportive Housing services.
  • This role involves supervising staff, providing ongoing direct and timely feedback and evaluations, and collaborating with staff to create performance outcomes and annual goals that align with agency Key Performance Indicators.
  • You will be expected to understand various grant and funder expectations and outcomes, and support team members in achieving related goals.
  • Additionally, you will implement policies and procedures to help standardize practices across teams and support a culture of effectiveness and efficiency.
  • As a key member of our team, you will also handle crisis and emergency situations and support clients in the absence of available staff.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field is required, with supervision status preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading behavioral health and/or social service teams is essential.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and community partners and engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess staff needs, provide coaching and feedback, and develop individualized goals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and teams.
  • Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $80k-$95k, commensurate with experience, to attract and retain top talent.
