Software Development Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to contribute to the development of our Member Access Platform (MAP) at Sam's Club.
Key responsibilities include anticipating solution risks and issues during requirements gathering, informing stakeholders, and recommending corrective steps.
Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to the creation of user stories for components and applications, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
They will also be responsible for creating simple, testable, and maintainable code, selecting appropriate languages, and taking initiative to learn new coding languages and frameworks.
Furthermore, the engineer will build scripts for automation of repetitive tasks in CI/CD, testing, or other processes, and demonstrate up-to-date expertise in software development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java, Scala, or Python, and experience with automation tools like Selenium and Agile methodologies.
They will also be proficient in root cause analysis and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD).
