Job Summary

The Senior Financial Solutions Analyst is a critical role within Citigroup Inc. responsible for designing, implementing, and governing financial solutions across the organization. This position requires a seasoned professional with expertise in financial services, advanced analytical skills, and excellent communication and diplomacy skills.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of financial processes, systems, and regulations. They will be responsible for contributing to the design and roll-out of financial solutions, participating in strategic direction setting, and resolving complex problems or transactions.

This role also involves supervising junior-level employees, performing other duties as assigned, and operating with a limited level of direct supervision. The successful candidate will have the ability to exercise independence of judgment and autonomy, acting as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design, roll-out, and governance of financial solutions
  • Participate in formulating and setting strategic direction for financial processes and architecture
  • Assist in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance
  • Play a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and standards for global Finance processes
  • Participate in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory, and market information needs into finance processes and applications
  • Resolve complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines, or processes

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
  • Excellent relational and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
