We are seeking a highly skilled Branch Support Specialist I to join our team at American 1 Credit Union. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our members and internal teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to member inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and assist with transfers, distributions, rollovers, conversions, death claims, and closures in accordance with government regulations and credit union policy.
  • Ensure quality control of documents and system data entry on IRA, HSA, ESA, and Coverdell accounts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of related experience in a financial services role.
  • Certified IRA Specialist (CIS) preferred.

Key Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of PC applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently or as a collaborative member of a team.
  • Ability to direct other team members and coach others.
