Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital in Palm Beach/Lake Worth, FL. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to medically complex patients, including bathing, oral hygiene, and transportation to various treatment centers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform services for patients involving bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, and oral feeding and care of hair.
  • Answer patient lights and perform services in a timely manner that adds to the physical well-being of the patient.
  • Participate in hourly rounds to ensure patients receive quality care.
  • Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary; assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
  • Keep patient rooms in clean and orderly condition, including making beds.
  • Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High school diploma or equivalent OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field such as a medical assistant or actively enrolled nursing student.
