We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Resilient Healthcare team. As a PRN Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in developing, recovering, or maintaining the daily living and work skills of individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions. Your commitment to patient-focused care and adaptability in providing effective services will enable individuals to confidently and independently perform everyday tasks and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients' needs to support engagement in occupations that impact health and well-being.
  • Select and adapt occupational therapy treatment models to direct interventions based on individual needs.
  • Apply interventions to ensure client safety and performance in daily living activities.
  • Teach clients new approaches to tasks and educate them on breaking down activities into manageable components.
  • Conduct assessments of clients' homes and environments to provide recommendations for adaptations.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and educate clients on its use.
  • Guide and educate family members and caregivers on client care.
  • Maintain records of client progress and treatment outcomes.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as an occupational therapist.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in computer programs and creative media.
  • Familiarity with ADL evaluation tools.
  • Ability to work with diverse client personalities.
  • Current knowledge of treatment practices and a commitment to ongoing learning and growth.
  • Professional behavior and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Valid licensure to practice occupational therapy.
  • BS degree or greater in occupational therapy.
