Nurse Practitioner in Radiation Oncology

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of innovative treatment plans.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Radiation Oncology Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct and indirect patient care in a radiation oncology setting
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, and developing individualized care plans to address these needs
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring patients' responses to treatment and reporting any adverse reactions or concerns to physicians
- Participating in educational programs and workshops to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in radiation oncology
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- A valid Washington state RN license
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in radiation oncology or a related field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
