Thermal Spray Coating Specialist

We are currently seeking an Experienced Thermal Spray Technician in Hebron, KY. This position comes with a $1500.00 sign-on and retention bonus.

Our Hebron location is in the Aerospace Manufacturing industry, where we apply coatings to customer parts that provide protection from stress and wear.
Salary and BenefitsThe wage rate for this position is determined by experience, and you can expect a competitive salary. In addition to a base salary, you'll also receive:
- Paid holidays and paid time off.
- Shift differential - $1.50 for 2nd shift.

You'll also have the opportunity to earn overtime as necessary, and work full-time, 40 hours per week.
Job DescriptionAs a Thermal Spray Technician, you will be responsible for performing HVOF, plasma, and/or other thermal spray coating operations per customer requirements and job folder specifications. Your tasks will include:
- Reviewing the job folder to verify pre-coating requirements have been completed according to specifications.
- Setting up parameters and process for thermal spray equipment and robotics.
- FOLLOWING IN-PROCESS INSPECTION PROCEDURES to verify current operation meets customer and technical plan requirements.
- Recording and signing off on all applicable data defined in the job folder.
You'll also be responsible for operating thermal spray equipment, reviewing job folders, and ensuring that all pre-coating requirements have been met.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you'll need to satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, which means you must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder. You should also have:
- A high school diploma and technical certification, two-year degree in a technical field, or combination of training and experience.
- Working experience in a production environment that demonstrates your ability to learn thermal spray processes.
- Previous plasma, thermal spray, and/or HVOF spray experience is preferred.

Estimated Salary Range$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
