Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities:
• Operate cash register, scanning merchandise and engaging customers through suggestive selling
• Process refunds and issues in-store merchandise credit to customers
• Follow GLA policies and procedures for all transactions
• Engage customers to ensure they are receiving all benefits of being an Ace Rewards member
Working Conditions:
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Stand for long periods, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Work near moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
• Moderate noise level
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Ability to read and interpret documents, speak effectively with customers or associates
• Basic math skills to compute rate, ratio, and percents
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables
