Ryder Employees who Drive on this account earn $1600 or more Weekly and it gets better

Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly

Hours Per Week: 50 or more hours per week

Solo Miles Pay: $0.48 per Mile with 1267 Miles per Week

Solo Stops Pay: $18.00 per Stop with 49 Stops per Week

Per Diem Pay: $60.00 per night with 1 - 3 nights per Week

Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel

New York City Pay: $150.00 Per Day

Sign On Bonus: Pays you $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days

Paid Training

Schedule: Monday – Sunday (5-6 Day Work Week)

Start Time: 3:00 am - 7:00 am Dispatch Window

Route: Regional

Tractor Type: Straight Truck

Trailer Type: Dry Van & Reefer 26'

Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack & Liftgate

Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Freight: Touch – Pet Food & Supply's

Delivered to Box and Small Box Stores

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years' experience within the last 10 years

Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

Performs other duties as assigned
