Job Summary:

As a Clinical Nurse II at Kennedy Krieger Institute, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and service in our outpatient clinics. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain clinic flow by assisting with vitals and nursing triage to prepare patients for the doctor's portion of the visit.
Reconcile medications and allergies, review health history changes, assess education needs, cultural/spiritual needs, and food needs, and assist with signing up for MyChart if needed.
Relay messages and questions from families to the clinical nurse coordinator or directly to MDs prior to the visit.
Assist with maintaining the clinic environment by cleaning exam rooms and stocking, and ensuring the safety of the clinic by following safety procedures.

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or enrolled in a BSN program to be completed within 2 years of hiring date.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required and minimum of 1 year pediatric experience preferred.
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license from Maryland or a compact state.
Current CPR certification that included hands-on skills.
