We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Stability Direct in Hawthorne, Nevada.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year (estimated)

About the Job

As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing X-ray and CT examinations under the direction of radiology manager. You will work with a small, tight-knit department of high-skilled technologists offering advanced services beyond X-Ray, including Echocardiograms, Sonography, 64 Slice CT, on-site IV Certification, and more.

You will take radiology procedure calls after regular working hours and weekends on a rotation basis, comply with established policies and procedures, maintain good employee relations, and keep up-to-date in the field of CT Technology through current literature and attendance at seminars.

The ideal candidate must hold a current registry with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists, have a current CPR card, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in CT or ability to train.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine technical factors and set controls for radiographic equipment.
  • Operate radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
  • Schedule patients for CT exams, review physician orders, and transport patients as required.
  • Greet patients, explain procedures, and alleviate fears and anxieties.
