We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Software Development Lead to join our team at DCCA.

This role will involve developing and maintaining ground software for satellite data analysis, data exploitation algorithms, and/or data processing systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing microservices using Python
  • Building full-stack web applications using Python, Django, and cloud technologies (AWS with CloudFormation)
  • Working with Agile, DevSecOps, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD) concepts
  • Providing system administration support for cloud-based development environments
  • Leveraging leadership and mentorship skills to guide technical teams
  • Collaborating with cross-discipline teams to maintain a positive work environment

The ideal candidate will possess a BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field and have experience with Python, Django, and cloud technologies.

A competitive salary of $90,000 - $127,000 per year is offered, along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, retirement plan, paid disability and life insurance programs, employee assistance program, paid and unpaid leave programs, education assistance, and wellness initiatives.
