As a leading manufacturer in the industry, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary for this position, with estimated annual earnings of $**85,000**.

Job Description

The Manufacturing Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating onsite work with the engineering team, designers, purchasing/requisitions and special project team personnel. They will also work alongside production management staff to ensure that projects are completed safely and accurately, and in a timely manner to meet customer and shipping goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Work Plan Management: The Manufacturing Operations Manager will oversee the project work plan process to guarantee accurate and timely completion of production goals.
  • Engineering Calculations: They will perform Engineering calculations involved with design, drafting or product; and all engineering changes.
  • Customer Compliance: They will coordinate with customer specifications, needs to ensure all sales and resulting work orders are in compliance with those requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Strict compliance and enforcement of all ISO, QA, contractual, and client requirements.
  • Workflow Optimization: The Manufacturing Operations Manager will figure out optimal work flow by working with manufacturing engineering and fabrication departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering Background: A Mechanical Engineering background and/or education is required.
  • Manufacturing Experience: Familiarity with machine shop, working in a manufacturing/fabrication environment is essential.
  • Production Planning: Production Planning or Scheduling experience is preferred.
  • Purchasing/Requisition: Understanding of purchasing/requisition in a manufacturing environment is necessary.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent technical communication skills, verbal and written are required.
