Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Explosive Ordnance Disposal Triage Technician to join our team at Vets Hired. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory-level triage procedures to detect, identify, and render safe explosive devices.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory-level triage procedures to detect and identify explosive devices, including X-Rays and physical inspections.
  • Utilize standard operating procedures for the storage, testing, and transport of samples and components found in captured materials.
  • Produce technical reports on findings and develop device profiles.
  • Provide expertise on global IED device and Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTP) threats.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma and 5 years of military EOD experience required.
  • Experience with laboratory-level triage procedures, X-Rays, and physical inspections of captured material.
  • Experience with standard operating procedures for the storage, testing, and transport of samples and components.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce technical reports and develop device profiles.
  • Current knowledge of global IED device and TTP threats.
  • Graduate of the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal preferred.
  • Must be able to pass security background investigation and obtain a TOP Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS and pass all deployment requirements for OCONUS medical screenings.
