Diesel Engine Technician

We are seeking a highly-skilled Diesel Engine Technician to join our team at Winstar Investments Llc. As an essential member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for providing on-site repairs and maintenance services for diesel-powered vehicles.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work with various types of diesel engines, including those used in trucks, buses, and heavy equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, ensuring our customers' vehicles are back on the road as quickly as possible.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to service calls from drivers who have experienced mechanical issues with their diesel vehicles on the road.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems with diesel engines, fuel systems, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle components.
- Perform repairs and maintenance services on-site, including engine rebuilds, transmission replacements, brake repairs, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Use diagnostic equipment and software to diagnose and repair complex mechanical problems.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure a seamless repair process.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification or degree in diesel mechanics preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
- Experience with diagnostic software and tools.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine systems, fuel systems, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the spot.
- Excellent communication skills.
Estimated salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
