TotalMed Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join their team for a travel nursing assignment in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Seattle, Washington. As a CVICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to CVICU patients, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Participate in educational programs and training to maintain and enhance professional knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Washington.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CVICU RN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
