We are seeking a dedicated Academic Tutor to join our team at New Generation Academy. As an Academic Tutor, you will provide individualized support to students in math, helping them achieve academic success and reach their full potential.

About the Role:

  • This position requires you to work with our partner schools in the public school setting to increase student achievement.
  • You will use various curriculum resources provided by the school and partner organizations to accelerate student learning.
  • Your expertise will be used to differentiate math instruction for your students and adapt lesson plans as needed.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching in the subject area(s).
  • You must be available during the school day for your assignments (approximately 8 a.m.—4 p.m.)
  • A comprehensive background check, including fingerprints, is required for all applicants.
  • Paid pre-service training and in-service professional development are provided to support your growth and success.
  • You will be expected to navigate varying hardware and software technology and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to maintain a work-life balance are essential qualities for this role.

Compensation: $52,000 - $62,000 per year, depending on experience.

Location: Metro Atlanta area, with a greater need for tutors in Fulton County.
