Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year

Job Description:

The Activities Assistant role under general supervision involves planning, implementing, and coordinating an activity program that meets the diverse needs of residents. This includes scheduling leisure activities, developing programs that cater to individual capabilities, working with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate activity programs in collaboration with the Director.
  • Create engaging activity plans to ensure resident participation.
  • Work with the interdisciplinary team to schedule activities and meet survey requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations on each resident.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of individual activity assessments and plans.
  • Establish and manage a volunteer program.
  • Identify community resources and serve as the facility's liaison.
  • Monitor resident behavior changes and communicate them effectively.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly.
  • Be creative, reliable, and flexible.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check.
