Project Superintendent Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Project Superintendent to lead our Heavy Highway Construction team.
About the Job
The Project Superintendent will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the field and/or administrative operations of projects. They will provide technical direction and have responsibility for the safety, costs, productivity, profitability, and overall quality of the work (including self-performed work) for the project(s).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the review of shop drawings, submittals, subcontract change orders, and purchase orders.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop the project management plan, including the project scope management plan, procurement plan, environmental plan, time management plan, financial plan, quality management, and safety plans, as well as the risk management process.
- Conduct weekly coordination meetings with project teams and subcontractors, and prepare daily field status reports.
- Coordinate the documentation of constructability issues, potential design conflicts, and clarifications with the appropriate personnel.
- Develop and manage the construction plan for the successful execution of the work performed.
- Ensure work is executed according to contract terms and conditions in a profitable manner.
- Interact effectively with owners, teams, and other stakeholders to maintain a positive project environment and exceptional client experience.
Requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills are essential.
- Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience required.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, and methods), negotiations, engineering, cost control, scheduling, and safety.
- Must have construction project and supervision experience in similar types of facilities.

Location
We are willing to relocate to the Austin area for the right candidate.
Salary Range
$110,000 - $150,000 per year.
