Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Perioperative Nurse to join our team in the Surgery Department. The successful candidate will work closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for patients before, during, and after surgery
• Monitor and record patient vitals pre-operation
• Prepare surgical tools and materials
• Record every aspect of an operation, including names and titles of those performing the surgery
• Advise the surgical team on potential harm to the patient during surgery
• Assist surgeons during surgery if needed
• Escort patients to the recovery room post-operation
• Clean the operating room post-operation

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois
• Strong critical thinking skills and a positive attitude
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per yearBenefits:
