Electrical Test Technician

As an Engineering Technician at TDK, you will play a critical role in the development and testing of our power supplies. You will work closely with our engineering team to conduct electrical testing, assemble products, and troubleshoot issues. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical testing of power supplies on test benches.
- Assemble products or equipment as required.
- Work with the engineering team to complete tasks and activities.
- Compile test data and report results to engineers.
- Perform qualification, safety agency, and design verification testing for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems.
- Analyze test results and modify equipment to meet specifications.
- Record test procedures and results, including numerical and graphical data.
- Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions.
- Check calibration stickers and certificates of safety engineering equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair damaged products as required.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of electronic test techniques and equipment.
- Knowledge of DC, AC, and analog circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts, apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word software.
