Role Overview

At Lincare, we're dedicated to setting the standard for excellence in respiratory care. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up and operating home medical equipment, including CPAP/BiPAP machines, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and mechanical ventilators.
  • Inspecting, testing, and adjusting equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Reviewing prescription and patient information to assess condition and determine suitable treatment administration, compatible with physician orders.
  • Maintaining patient records in a complete and organized manner, in compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest respiratory homecare techniques and relevant respiratory therapy concepts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • In-depth knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Certification, registration, or licensure as a CRT, RRT, RN, LPN, LVN, paramedic, EMT, or other clinician, as required by state and national laws and regulations.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for patient visits.
