**Job Summary:** We seek a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team. As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will be responsible for maintaining the proper function and safety of linear accelerators, assisting engineers with beam characterization, and performing dosimetry measurements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and calibrate linear accelerators to ensure optimal performance and patient safety
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimize beam parameters and perform recalibration as needed
  • Perform advanced dosimetry processes, including equipment qualification and treatment planning
  • Participate in radiation safety aspects, staying up-to-date with new regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal rules

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in medical physics or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Certification with the American Board of Radiology as a Medical Physicist
  • Three years of radiation oncology experience preferred

Estimated Salary:** $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
