We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician III to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient preparation and distribution of medications to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, and maintaining patient records.
- Triaging phone calls and supporting primary pharmacy distribution functions.
- Perform advanced sterile compounding, including total parenteral nutrition (TPN), chemotherapy, and NICU IVs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 18 months of hospital pharmacy experience (or equivalent as determined by pharmacy leadership).
- Three years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting preferred.
- Technician permit issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy upon hire or within 90 days.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
- Compounded Sterile Pharmacy Technician (CSPT) Certification required.
- Up to $25.24/hour depending on previous work experience.
11:30pm-8am, 3:30am-12pm
Work Shift:Evening
