Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst III to join our team at the Texas Military Department. This is a senior-level position that requires expertise in information security and cybersecurity analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze cybersecurity alerts from various sources
Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents
Conduct root cause analysis and develop recommendations for mitigating future incidents
Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Collaborate with IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies and standards

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
Relevant experience in information technology security and cybersecurity analysis
Strong knowledge of security policies and standards, including NIST and ISO Cyber Security ISO Standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
