Job Description

We are seeking a talented Materials Scientist to join our team at Imerys. As an expert in polymers and material science, you will drive business growth through new product development, process optimization, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead New Product Development (NPD) programs to meet customer needs
  • Promote a safe work environment and manage projects of moderate size and scope
  • Maintain a strong understanding of structure-property relationships and materials performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions
  • Communicate project results through technical and business-focused presentations
Requirements:
  • PhD in chemical/plastics/material science or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial experience in polymers/material science
  • Strong technical skills, including troubleshooting and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing operation
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year
